Job description

Mercor is recruiting UK-based Legal Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.

Ideal Candidates

Roles such as:

  • Associate
  • Senior Associate
  • Counsel
  • Partner

We're especially interested in candidates from Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, and White & Case, though strong PE or cross-border M&A experience from similar US firms with UK presence is also welcome.

What You'll Do

Help create, review, and simulate realistic legal scenarios, including private equity transactions, cross-border M&A, leveraged buyouts, fund formation, regulatory filings, and deal structuring.

Strong candidates understand how international finance deals operate, including Partner-led teams working across PE, M&A, and debt financing workstreams. US bar qualification is a plus.

Role Details

  • Contributing to high-quality training data for frontier AI systems
  • Fully remote and project-based
  • Available to work 40 hours/week
