Job description

Mercor is recruiting on behalf of a leading AI research laboratory seeking experienced professionals to help evaluate how enterprise software vendors structure pricing, licensing, renewals, and go-to-market strategies.

This role is designed for professionals with firsthand experience in commercial strategy, enterprise software pricing, large-scale contract negotiations, software licensing programs, channel management, partner ecosystems, or enterprise technology procurement.

Contributors will provide expert insights used to improve AI systems' understanding of enterprise software commercial operations and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Pricing & Licensing

  • Provide expertise on:

    • Enterprise software pricing models
    • Licensing structures
    • Packaging strategies
    • Monetization frameworks
  • Explain how software vendors structure commercial offerings across enterprise markets

Customer Purchasing & Contract Strategy

  • Discuss:

    • Enterprise purchasing behavior
    • Discounting practices
    • Contract structures
    • Enterprise agreement negotiations
  • Share insights into how organizations evaluate and purchase enterprise software solutions

Revenue Growth & Commercial Operations

  • Provide perspectives on:

    • Renewals
    • Customer retention
    • Account expansion
    • Revenue optimization
  • Explain commercial decision-making processes across enterprise technology organizations

Channel & Partner Economics

  • Analyze:

    • Channel programs
    • Distribution strategies
