Job description

Recruiter – AI Career Guidance Evaluation

About the Role

What if your recruiting expertise could directly shape how AI guides professionals through career decisions — from landing their first role to making a senior leadership move? We're looking for experienced Recruiters in Toronto and across Canada to help train, evaluate, and improve next-generation AI systems — ensuring they deliver career advice that's accurate, practical, and realistic for real professionals.

Toronto is one of North America's most dynamic recruiting markets, with a diverse talent ecosystem spanning finance, technology, professional services, and beyond. We're looking for evaluators who understand that market depth and can bring it to meaningful AI development work.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review career-related questions submitted by professionals at different stages — entry-level, mid-career, and senior or executive levels
  • Write high-quality "golden answers" that reflect expert-level career guidance within talent acquisition and recruiting
  • Create objective evaluation rubrics used to assess AI-generated career advice
  • Identify inaccurate, unrealistic, or incomplete recommendations produced by AI systems
  • Contribute your real-world industry knowledge to strengthen AI career coaching capabilities
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Professional experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Executive Search, or Staffing in Canada
  • Strong understanding of hiring processes, candidate evaluation, interviewing techniques, and labor market trends
  • Experience advising candidates and hiring managers across industries and functions
  • Excellent written communication skills in English — able to articulate nuanced career guidance clearly and concisely
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Agency recruiting or executive search experience within the Toronto or broader Canadian market
  • Corporate talent acquisition background in banking, technology, consulting, or healthcare
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting across multiple seniority levels or disciplines
  • Familiarity with AI tools or HR technology platforms as an end user

Why Join Us

  • Help shape how AI systems provide career guidance to professionals around the world
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
  • Apply your professional expertise to cutting-edge AI evaluation projects
  • Potential for ongoing work and long-term opportunities as new projects launch
