Customer Service Professional – AI Career Evaluation Specialist

About the Role

What if your hands-on experience in customer service could directly influence how AI systems coach and guide professionals across the country? We're looking for experienced Customer Service professionals in Chicago and the greater Midwest to evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI career guidance tools — making sure the advice they give is grounded in real-world expertise.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You don't need an AI background — you need deep knowledge of what it actually takes to build and grow a career in customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Review career-related questions from professionals at different stages of their customer service journey
  • Write high-quality "golden answers" that reflect expert-level career guidance within your field
  • Develop evaluation rubrics used to assess and score AI-generated career advice
  • Flag inaccurate, unrealistic, or incomplete recommendations generated by AI systems
  • Apply your real-world industry knowledge to help AI deliver better career coaching
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Solid professional experience in Customer Service, Customer Support, Client Services, or Call Center Operations
  • Deep understanding of customer-facing roles, career paths, and what it takes to succeed and grow
  • Strong written communication skills — you can translate experience into clear, useful guidance
  • Able to give practical, actionable, and honest career advice
  • Self-directed and reliable when working without direct supervision
  • No prior AI, technology, or research experience required

Nice to Have

  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a customer service or support environment
  • Track record of training, mentoring, or developing customer service team members
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Freshdesk
  • Background in quality assurance, coaching, or contact center operations
  • Customer Success or account management experience
