Join a leading AI lab's GenAI team and help build foundational AI models by contributing real-world Excel expertise from IT management environments.
This opportunity is designed for experienced IT leaders who use Excel extensively for budgeting, operational reporting, vendor management, software licensing, capacity planning, and IT analytics.
The role focuses on helping AI systems better understand and solve realistic spreadsheet-based tasks drawn from enterprise IT operations.
This is a W-2 employment opportunity through Cincinnatus LLC, with placement on projects supporting a leading AI laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide research teams in improving AI performance on Excel-based tasks within the IT management domain
- Design realistic spreadsheet exercises based on real-world IT management workflows
- Create accurate and well-structured solutions for Excel tasks
- Evaluate spreadsheet tasks and model responses
- Provide detailed written feedback on quality, accuracy, and reasoning
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain consistency and quality across training data

Required Qualifications
Excel Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with:

- VBA
- Macros
Professional Experience
5+ years in an in-house IT management or leadership role
Experience in positions such as:
- IT Manager
- IT Director
- IT Operations Manager
- IT Systems Manager
- IT Infrastructure Manager
- IT Program Manager
- PMO Manager
Demonstrated progression into senior IT leadership responsibilities
Additional Requirements
- Ability to commit at least 20 hours per week during weekdays
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be based in the United States
