Job description

In this remote contractor role, you will work as a Contract Review Subject Matter Expert (SME) reviewing AI-generated contract analyses and drafting outputs while creating expert contract review content.

The work focuses on evaluating contract interpretation, risk allocation, drafting quality, issue spotting, negotiation strategy, and commercial contract reasoning while providing detailed written feedback that improves AI model performance.

Important Note

There is currently no active project attached to this role.

Qualified candidates will join the expert network and may be among the first professionals contacted when relevant opportunities become available.

What You'll Do

Review AI Responses

  • Evaluate AI-generated contract analyses and drafting outputs

  • Assess:

    • Accuracy
    • Clarity
    • Completeness
    • Practical usefulness
    • Prompt adherence
  • Identify:

    • Clause interpretation errors
    • Risk allocation issues
    • Missing contractual terms
    • Ambiguous language
    • Enforceability concerns
    • Negotiation weaknesses
    • Drafting inconsistencies

Create Expert Content

  • Develop detailed prompts and gold-standard solutions
  • Create content covering:
    • Contract issue lists
    • Redlines
    • Clause rewrites
    • Negotiation notes
    • Contract playbooks
    • Commercial agreement guidance

Improve AI Performance

  • Compare and rank multiple AI responses
  • Improve:
    • Correctness
    • Defensibility
    • Clarity
    • Negotiation usefulness
    • Commercial practicality

Ensure Model Integrity

  • Test outputs for:
    • Inaccuracies
    • Misleading certainty
    • Confidentiality risks

Required Qualifications

  • JD, LLB, or equivalent legal degree

OR

  • Paralegal, Contracts, Procurement, or Legal Operations background with significant contract review experience

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • In-house legal teams
    • Law firms
    • Procurement
    • Vendor management
    • Legal operations
    • Contract management

Contract Review Expertise

Strong ability to identify and evaluate:

  • Liability caps

Commercial Agreement Experience

Experience reviewing and negotiating agreements such as:

Privacy & Security Knowledge

Familiarity with:
