Job description
As a Computational Engineering Expert, you will apply your expertise in simulation, systems engineering, and computational modeling to help train next-generation AI systems.
This role focuses on evaluating engineering workflows, benchmarking AI performance in technical simulations, and contributing expert reasoning across real-world computational engineering scenarios.
Your work will directly support AI systems operating in:
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Finite element analysis (FEA)
- Simulation modeling
- Systems engineering
- Scientific computing
- Engineering optimization
Key Responsibilities
Contribute computational engineering expertise to AI benchmarking and evaluation projects
Analyze AI system performance across engineering scenarios involving:
- CFD
- FEA
- Robotics
- Control systems
- Simulation workflows
Review and improve:
- Technical datasets
- Simulation outputs
- Engineering workflows
- Modeling pipelines
Validate engineering solutions using tools such as:
- ANSYS
- Abaqus
- OpenFOAM
- COMSOL
- MATLAB
Produce detailed technical assessments and engineering feedback
Collaborate with interdisciplinary domain experts to identify:
- AI limitations
- Benchmarking gaps
- Optimization opportunities
Contribute to the creation of realistic engineering benchmarks for AI systems
Communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to technical and non-technical collaborators
Required Qualifications
PhD or equivalent research/industry experience in:

Strong expertise involving:

Hands-on experience with:
