Job description

As a Computational Physics Expert, you will apply your expertise in scientific computing, numerical simulations, and quantitative modeling to help train next-generation AI systems.

This role focuses on evaluating scientific workflows, analyzing computational models, and contributing advanced physics reasoning across real-world AI evaluation projects.

Your work will directly support AI systems operating in:

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute computational physics expertise to AI evaluation and benchmarking projects

  • Develop, review, and refine:

    • Scientific simulations
    • Computational workflows
  • Apply advanced computational techniques involving:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve AI scientific reasoning capabilities

  • Document findings and explain complex physics concepts clearly

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in:
    • Physics
    • Computational Physics
    • Related scientific disciplines

or equivalent research/industry experience.

  • Strong expertise involving:

    • Computational physics
    • Scientific computing
    • Simulation-heavy research
  • Proficiency using:

    • Python
    • C++
    • MATLAB
    • ROOT
  • Experience involving:

    • Numerical simulations
    • Monte Carlo methods
    • HPC workflows
    • Scientific data interpretation
  • Strong:

    • Mathematical reasoning
    • Quantitative modeling abilities
  • Demonstrated scientific data analysis experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
