Job description

Join the team as an LMMS Expert helping train next-generation AI systems through real-world music production workflows and digital audio creation expertise.

This role focuses on demonstrating complete music production processes using LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio), from creative ideation through final mastering and export.

Contributors will help improve AI understanding of:

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and document complete music production projects using LMMS

  • Demonstrate full production workflows including:

    • Composition
    • Sound design

    • Mastering

  • Showcase hands-on expertise using LMMS across:

    • Linux
    • macOS
    • Windows

  • Work across multiple genres and project types such as:

    • Electronic music
    • Hip-hop
    • Pop
    • Game audio
    • Experimental audio
    • Podcasts

  • Use and explain advanced LMMS features including:

    • MIDI sequencing
    • Automation
    • Plugin integration
    • Effect processing
    • Workflow optimization

  • Communicate production decisions, workflows, and technical reasoning through written and verbal documentation

  • Provide insights and feedback helping improve AI systems designed for music creation and audio production

  • Proven expertise completing full music production projects using LMMS as the primary DAW
