Job description

As a Legal Specialist, you will apply your legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems.

Your work will shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality real-world legal input and analysis.

No prior AI experience is required. Legal domain expertise is the primary qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents and materials for AI training purposes

  • Evaluate and validate legal content to ensure:

  • Identify nuances in:

    • Legal language
    • Drafting styles
    • Substantive legal issues

across multiple legal specialties.

  • Collaborate with legal professionals and cross-functional teams to improve data quality

    • Clarifications for complex legal topics

  • Provide domain-specific legal insights supporting the development of AI legal systems

  • Handle confidential and sensitive legal information with professionalism and discretion

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD), LLB, or equivalent accredited law degree

  • Strong expertise in one or more legal domains such as:

    • Corporate law
    • Intellectual property law
    • Litigation
    • Contract law
    • Regulatory law

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong legal drafting and analytical abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently in remote asynchronous environments
