We are seeking a Library & Information Science Expert to support projects involving information management, metadata systems, and digital resource organization.
In this role, you will apply your expertise in library science to improve knowledge systems, data organization, and information accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement metadata standards and information management practices
- Organize and maintain digital and physical collections
- Advise on library systems and digital repository tools
- Conduct research and data analysis to support decision-making
- Create documentation, reports, and user guides
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Library & Information Science or related field
- Experience working in library or information environments
- Expertise in cataloging, metadata, and digital resource management
- Familiarity with library management systems and repositories
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital transformation in libraries
- Familiarity with AI in information systems and open access initiatives
- Professional certifications in library science
