Role Overview
As a Conversational Audio Contributor, you will record natural conversations or read scripts in your native language. These recordings help train AI models in speech recognition, language understanding, and conversational fluency.
Available Tasks
1. Conversational Audio (with Partner)
- Record natural conversations in languages like English or Tagalog
- Talk freely about topics like daily life, hobbies, work, or opinions
- Duration: 2–60 minutes
- Requires 2 participants (you + a partner)
2. Script Reading Tasks
- Read provided transcripts aloud in specific languages
- Spell out structured data such as:
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- URLs
- Names and addresses
Languages include:
- Odia
- Bengali
- Urdu
- Gujarati
- Punjabi
- Malayalam
- Kannada
- Tagalog
- Telugu
- Tamil
Key Responsibilities
- Record clear, natural audio following guidelines
- Maintain high audio quality and clarity
- Follow instructions precisely (especially for script reading tasks)
- Ensure proper pronunciation and pacing
- Submit recordings on time
Requirements
- Fluency or native proficiency in the required language
- Quiet recording environment (no background noise)
- Clear speech and natural delivery
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- For conversational tasks: access to a partner
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 48 kHz sample rate
- Minimum 16-bit audio depth
- WAV format (handled by platform tools)
- Use of headphones to prevent echo
Payment
- Conversational tasks: ~$20/hr ($0.33/min)
- Script reading tasks: ~$10–$14/hr depending on language
- Both participants are paid for conversation tasks
