Job Summary

We are seeking a Yoruba Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer to help shape the next generation of AI systems.

In this role, you will use your linguistic expertise and cultural knowledge to evaluate and refine Yoruba language outputs generated by large-scale AI models. Your work will directly contribute to improving grammar accuracy, fluency, contextual richness, and cultural appropriateness across AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and annotate Yoruba language content.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for grammar, syntax, semantics, and stylistic accuracy.
• Identify recurring error patterns and document findings clearly.
• Provide expert feedback to improve model performance.
• Refine prompts, evaluation criteria, and linguistic guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent quality and cultural accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Native or fluent proficiency in Yoruba.
• Professional experience in translation, linguistics, editing, language teaching, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Yoruba grammar, syntax, and cultural context.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in linguistic annotation or AI training projects.
• Background in training, coaching, or language evaluation workflows.
