Data Scientist IV

Job responsibilities:

Predictive Modeling & Forecasting:
Build and maintain predictive models to identify key productivity drivers across recruiting workflows
Develop forecasting frameworks that inform leadership decisions on resourcing, strategy, and capacity planning
Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations for product and program teams

Experimentation & A/B Testing:
Design, execute, and analyze A/B test experiments across product features (sourcing tools, candidate engagement, recruiter workflows)
Establish statistical rigor for product launches — moving teams from directional signals to statistically significant evidence
Maintain a high bar for shipping: define success criteria, run power analyses, and deliver clear rollout recommendations

Data Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain data pipelines with minimal engineering support to enable self-serve measurement
Automate recurring reporting (e.g., SteerCo metrics, impact tracking dashboards) to reduce manual DS burden
Develop and standardize impact projection frameworks in dashboards (e.g., Unidash)

Product Analytics & Measurement:
Define and operationalize north star metrics and KRs for product teams
Deliver actionable insights that directly inform product direction — XFN partners should cite analysis as the basis for strategic decisions
Identify measurement gaps and recommend new instrumentation

AI/GenAI Applications:
Apply GenAI classification and automation to reduce manual operational burden (targeting thousands of hours saved)
Manage evaluation frameworks for analytics self-serve tools (cookbooks, recipes) — drive quality improvements and eval score gains
Partner with engineering to identify and validate AI-powered product use cases

Collaboration & Influence:
Partner closely with PM, Eng, and DE to translate data insights into product strategy
Solicit input across cross-functional DS teams and synthesize into unified recommendations
Quickly develop domain expertise in new product areas and proactively propose measurement approaches

Minimum skills/experience:
Product data scientist with 5+ years of experience in measurement, analytics, insights driving product impact
