Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Strategic Program Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone for a Construction Operations (DCOC) team, ensuring construction project initiatives, tasks, and action items remain on track across multiple metropolitan markets. This individual will coordinate closely with project teams to drive accountability, maintain continuity between meetings, and proactively follow up on deliverables, risks, and dependencies. Partnering with Senior Construction Operations Program Managers, this role consolidates updates, tracks progress, facilitates cross-functional communication, and escalates critical issues as needed. The ideal candidate excels at creating structure in ambiguous environments, building governance frameworks, managing risks and dependencies, and aligning diverse stakeholders around common business objectives. There is potential for travel to each metro area to meet with teams and develop an understanding of the diversity of scope, local dynamics, and logistics involved with the projects being planned and executed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as executive support partner for Construction Operations leadership, driving execution and continuity across multiple metro areas
• Develop standard team formats for meeting notes including project status, local operations monthly project coordination meetings, tracking escort assignments, and team action items for program initiatives
• Provide governance processes to maintain momentum across complex initiatives and ensure organized project documentation including RACIs, schedules, and reporting mechanisms
• Present observations identifying gaps or redundancy and engage in program team initiatives to address findings
• Partner with Senior Construction Operations Program Managers to track program health, communicate priorities, and facilitate decision-making
• Identify risks, dependencies, and execution gaps, proactively engaging with stakeholders to resolve issues and keep projects moving forward
• Partner with metro teams to develop tools and processes for justifying resources including escorts
• Develop solutions to gaps, blockers, and new challenges in processes that require resolution
• Maintain relationships with internal partners, designers, consultants, and the GC team to ensure stakeholder alignment
• Coordinate with teams to maintain continuity in communicating project milestones, action items, and deliverables to ensure commitments are understood and achieved
• Monitor and report on project gaps and blockers, driving communication for resolution including project status, procurement, equipment delivery, schedule, cost control, safety, and change management systems
• Attend project OAC meetings including progress, pre-construction, pre-award, and other meetings as needed to understand day-to-day function of the Construction Management field team
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and an Injury-Free Environment (IFE) through own actions, mentoring others, and enforcing IFE program on projects

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise program management, PMO leadership, or business operations required
• 10+ years of experience in program governance and execution management
• 10+ years of experience in risk, dependency, and action item management using RAID frameworks
• 5+ years of experience with project systems and reporting tools including Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project
• Demonstrated experience supporting executive leaders through complex organizational change, global program delivery, and cross-functional execution
• Experience in construction management or data center construction environments strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field required
• PMI, PMP, or CCM certification preferred
• Similar applicable industry certifications will be considered
• OSHA or safety-related certifications a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate within a team environment
• Knowledge of design and construction processes, quality control, cost management, scheduling, and techniques to deliver projects on time and under budget
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
• Skilled in RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and Visio
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar document management tools
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling software
• Experience with Procore or similar Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
• Experience with Azure DevOps and project reporting tools
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to create structure and governance in ambiguous environments

Additional Details:

• Location: Remote
• Duration: 19 months
• Pay Range*: $81.50 - $92 per hour
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
• Job Status: Non-Exempt
