About the Role
What if your expertise in genomic and clinical data could directly shape how AI understands and advances personalized medicine for millions of patients worldwide? We're looking for a Precision Medicine Data Lead to bring together complex healthcare datasets, drive analytical strategy, and help build AI systems that power the next generation of clinical decision-making.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for experienced professionals in healthcare data, genomics, or life sciences analytics. You'll work alongside leading AI research teams — contributing deep domain knowledge that makes a measurable difference in how AI handles some of the most complex and consequential data in the world.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do

- Lead analytical strategies that transform complex, integrated datasets into actionable insights for clinical research and precision medicine initiatives
- Evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs related to healthcare data — identifying errors, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and scientific rigor
- Communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Apply your domain expertise to help AI systems better understand and reason over clinical and genomic information
Who You Are
- Experienced working with large-scale healthcare, genomic, or life sciences datasets in analytics, research, or data leadership roles
- Strong background in data integration, data governance, and translating complex biological or clinical data into meaningful insights
- Able to work cross-functionally across clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated or highly technical environments
- Detail-oriented, rigorous, and comfortable operating at the intersection of science and technology
- Clear and effective communicator who can bridge the gap between domain science and data systems
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools, EHR systems, or genomic data standards (e.g., HL7 FHIR, VCF formats)
- Background in clinical research, translational medicine, or precision oncology
- Experience working in or alongside regulated healthcare or life sciences environments
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside the world's leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
