About the Role
What if your expertise in healthcare data governance could directly shape how AI understands, interprets, and works with clinical and operational health data? We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help evaluate, validate, and improve AI systems trained on complex healthcare data — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and real-world clinical relevance.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI background needed — just deep experience in healthcare data governance and a sharp eye for data quality.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs related to hospital health data governance, clinical data management, and compliance frameworks
- Apply your expertise to assess whether data governance standards, policies, and controls are accurately represented by AI systems
- Identify gaps, inaccuracies, or compliance risks in AI-generated healthcare data content
- Review and validate content spanning HIPAA, clinical data operations, data quality standards, and cross-functional governance workflows
- Provide structured, detailed feedback using evaluation tools and rubrics
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health information operations
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks — particularly HIPAA
- Comfortable navigating the intersection of clinical, IT, compliance, and administrative domains
- Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic, methodical approach to evaluating complex information
- Clear and concise written communicator who can document findings effectively
- No prior AI or tech industry experience required
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Background in health informatics, clinical decision support, or EHR data management
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK or similar standards
- Experience working with cross-functional healthcare teams across clinical, IT, and compliance functions
