Agricultural Content Expert
Job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Agricultural Content Expert based in Brazil.
This role focuses on improving the quality, reliability, and relevance of AI-powered agricultural advisory content used to support farmers and extension ecosystems across diverse geographies.
You will contribute to the development and refinement of agricultural knowledge used in digital advisory systems, ensuring outputs are accurate, contextual, and practical for real-world farming conditions.
The position combines agronomic expertise with AI evaluation work, including reviewing and improving machine-generated agricultural Q&A content.
You will play a key role in validating technical information and enhancing the performance of AI systems through structured feedback and content curation.
A significant part of the role involves creating and reviewing localized agricultural content adapted to crops, seasons, livestock systems, and climate conditions.
You will collaborate in shaping datasets, benchmarks, and advisory materials that directly impact farmer decision-making.
This is a highly specialized role at the intersection of agriculture, data quality, and artificial intelligence applications.
Accountabilities:
- Review and evaluate AI-generated agricultural Q&A pairs, ensuring accuracy, clarity, relevance, and practical usability for farmers and extension workers.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality “golden datasets” by ranking responses, providing structured feedback, and identifying model failure cases.
- Create, validate, and review agricultural content cards covering crops, livestock, climate resilience, regenerative agriculture, and related domains.
- Ensure content is contextually adapted to specific geographies, seasons, and farming systems, improving localization and applicability.
- Participate in calibration sessions and structured evaluation workflows to enhance AI model performance and consistency.
- Maintain documentation of reviews, feedback, and content contributions through digital platforms and reporting tools.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Horticulture, Climate Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural advisory services, extension work, research, or agricultural content development.
- Strong understanding of farming systems, agronomic principles, and farmer-facing advisory contexts.
- Ability to critically evaluate technical agricultural content and provide clear, actionable feedback.
- Experience in one or more domains such as soil health, crop protection, livestock systems, climate-smart agriculture, or regenerative agriculture.
- Nice to have: exposure to AI-assisted content systems, RLHF processes, or LLM-based evaluation workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to ensure scientific accuracy in applied agricultural contexts.
Benefits:
- Flexible remote engagement model
- Opportunity to contribute to AI-driven agricultural advisory systems with real-world impact
- Competitive compensation based on task type and approved outputs
- Project-based and scalable workload depending on availability and performance
- Exposure to advanced AI evaluation methodologies (RLHF, dataset curation, model validation)
- Collaboration with global agricultural and technology experts
- Opportunity to influence farmer-facing digital advisory content at scale
- Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension
