You will be responsible for managing customer account portfolios, monitoring outstanding balances, and driving timely collections to support strong cash flow and financial stability. Accountabilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collections and adherence to company credit and collections policies.
- Contact customers via email and phone to follow up on outstanding balances, resolve payment delays, and address billing disputes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date collections records, including communication logs, payment arrangements, and account status updates.
- Monitor and analyze aging reports to prioritize accounts based on risk level and outstanding balances.
- Collaborate closely with billing and account management teams to resolve escalated disputes and ensure payment resolution.
- Support reporting, tracking, and process improvement initiatives related to collections strategy and cash flow optimization.
- Assist with ad hoc finance and accounting projects as needed to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related accounting/finance roles.
- Strong understanding of customer billing cycles, payment processes, and receivables management.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
