You will take full responsibility for the month-end close process while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting across all periods.

You will act as a core finance partner, collaborating cross-functionally on financial systems, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller, with significant exposure to both operational and strategic accounting decisions.
It is well-suited for a proactive accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth, and tech-driven environments.
Accountabilities:
- Own and manage the full-cycle month-end, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close calendar management.
- Prepare and review financial statements along with detailed flux and variance analyses to ensure accuracy and transparency in reporting.
- Lead the external audit process, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and managing all documentation and information requests.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable process documentation aligned with U.S. GAAP standards.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives across the accounting function to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Support strategic accounting projects such as system migrations, new product launches, and financial system enhancements.
- Review and oversee the work of junior team members and outsourced partners to ensure quality and consistency.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support financial reporting needs and operational initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and in-house finance roles.
- CPA designation or CPA candidate with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience independently owning a full-cycle month-end close process in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with NetSuite (required), and familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks, Ramp, or Airbase.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate large financial datasets.
- Experience supporting audits and working directly with external auditors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in high-growth environments.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary aligned with experience and market benchmarks.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Company-paid life insurance.
- 401(k) plan with safe harbor employer matching.
- Flexible vacation policy and paid company holidays.
- Company-provided technology equipment and tools.
- Opportunity to work in a fast-growing fintech environment with strong career ownership and impact.
