Role Overview
We are seeking Video Annotation Experts to support AI training projects focused on improving how machine learning systems understand and interpret real-world video data.
In this role, you will annotate short video clips by identifying and labeling meaningful events, ensuring high-quality, structured data for AI model training.
Scope of Work
Event Detection & Segmentation
- Identify recurring or meaningful events within short video clips
- Segment events according to provided guidelines
- Ensure accurate start and end timestamps for each event
Annotation Tasks
- Provide precise labels for detected events
- Write clear, concise, and consistent descriptions for each annotation
- Maintain high accuracy across all labeled data
Quality Assurance
- Review and refine your own annotations
- Ensure consistency with evolving project guidelines
- Meet strict quality and formatting standards
Collaboration
- Communicate via written and verbal channels to clarify instructions
- Resolve ambiguities in annotation guidelines when needed
- Collaborate with reviewers and project leads as required
Ideal Qualifications
- Native-level English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data labeling
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Video annotation
- Content moderation
- Video editing
- Videography
- Writing or structured content labeling
- Ability to follow complex annotation guidelines
- Ability to adapt quickly based on feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in AI training or machine learning data annotation projects
- Familiarity with structured labeling workflows
- Strong consistency in applying annotation rules
Work Expectations
- Fully remote contractor role
- Work involves reviewing and labeling video content with precision
- Requires careful adherence to task instructions and guidelines
Compensation
- $65 to $80 per hour
Contract & Payment Terms
