Role Overview
Turing is seeking experienced Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Finance Professionals to support AI training and evaluation projects involving financial analysis, accounting workflows, bookkeeping processes, and finance-related problem solving.
The role requires practical expertise in accounting operations, reconciliations, financial reporting, advisory support, and business finance processes.
Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, issues, or reporting concerns
- Review accounting records and financial information
- Provide practical accounting and finance guidance
Bookkeeping Support
- Handle questions related to bookkeeping, AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
- Apply accounting best practices to business scenarios
Financial Reporting & Advisory
- Review and interpret financial reports
- Provide recommendations based on sound accounting principles
- Support business decision-making with financial insights
- Assist with accounting process evaluations and improvements
AI Training & Evaluation
- Contribute finance and accounting expertise to AI-related projects
- Help improve AI systems' understanding of accounting and finance concepts
- Evaluate financial scenarios and responses for accuracy and practical relevance
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, controllership, or financial consulting
- Strong expertise in bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Experience using accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Ability to analyze financial information and provide practical guidance
Nice to Have
- QuickBooks Online or Desktop experience
- Experience as a Controller, Finance Manager, CFO Advisor, or Financial Consultant
- Experience with payroll, tax/VAT, multi-currency accounting, or SMB finance operations
