Project Overview

Mercor is seeking Golf Video Annotation Reviewers to support a short-turnaround sports data annotation quality assurance project (June 17 – June 29).

Contributors will review and correct existing annotations across approximately 50 golf videos, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards.

This role focuses on quality control, error detection, and annotation correction rather than initial data labeling.

Key Responsibilities

Annotation Review & Quality Assurance

  • Review existing annotations on golf video datasets
  • Verify annotation accuracy and completeness
  • Identify annotation errors, inconsistencies, missing labels, and incorrect event classifications

Golf Event Analysis

  • Evaluate golf-related actions and events including shot types, scoring events, player actions, rule-related situations, and on-course activities

Quality Control Process

  • Participate in a maker-checker workflow where annotations created by one expert are reviewed by another

Project Scope

  • Approximately 50 golf videos, each approximately 20 minutes long
  • Project data available beginning June 17, deadline June 29

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of golf, including rules, scoring systems, shot types, player actions, and course events
  • High attention to detail and strong quality control skills
