Job description
Business Administration (MBA) — AI Data Trainer
About the Role
What if your MBA could directly shape how AI reasons through corporate finance, market strategy, and executive decision-making for millions of professionals around the world?
We're looking for experienced business professionals to challenge, evaluate, and train cutting-edge AI models — ensuring they can hold their own in boardroom-level conversations about valuation, operations, and organizational strategy.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep business expertise and a rigorous, analytical mind.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design Complex Business Challenges — Develop advanced case studies and quantitative problems spanning DCF valuation, market entry strategy, supply chain optimization, cap table modeling, and organizational behavior
- Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Create detailed, step-by-step responses that include financial statements, strategic frameworks (4Ps, 5Cs, Porter's Five Forces), and executive-quality rationales that serve as the benchmark for AI training
- Audit AI Reasoning — Evaluate AI-generated business plans, financial forecasts, and case analyses for logical consistency, mathematical accuracy, and adherence to professional business standards
- Identify and Correct Flaws — Catch errors in AI reasoning — from misapplied WACC calculations to ignored sunk costs to flawed macroeconomic assumptions — and provide structured, actionable feedback
- Raise the Bar for AI — Help ensure AI can serve as a sophisticated, reliable partner for executive-level decision-making and real-world business operations
Who You Are
- Holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
- Strong foundational knowledge across at least two core business domains: Finance, Marketing, Operations, or Strategic Management
- Able to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-style analysis and recommendations
- Exceptionally detail-oriented — you catch errors in financial formulas, logical arguments, and business reasoning instinctively
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time across flexible, task-based assignments
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or private equity
- Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation workflows
- Proficiency in data-driven decision tools — Excel modeling, Tableau, SQL, or similar
- Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation as an end user
