Job description
Business Administration (MBA) — AI Data Trainer
About the Role
What if your MBA could directly shape how AI advises executives, analyzes markets, and solves complex business problems for millions of people worldwide? We're looking for business professionals to challenge and train cutting-edge AI models — ensuring they reason like seasoned strategists, not just calculators.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced business minds. No AI background needed — just deep expertise in the fundamentals of business and a sharp eye for rigorous thinking.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design Complex Business Challenges — Build advanced case studies and quantitative problems spanning DCF valuation, market entry strategy, supply chain optimization, cap table modeling, and organizational behavior
- Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Craft rigorous, step-by-step responses featuring financial statements, strategic frameworks (4Ps, 5Cs, Porter's Five Forces), and executive-level rationales that serve as the benchmark for AI training
- Audit AI Reasoning — Evaluate AI-generated business plans, financial forecasts, and case analyses for logical consistency, mathematical accuracy, and adherence to professional standards
- Sharpen AI Thinking — Identify and document reasoning failures — sunk cost fallacies, miscalculated WACC, flawed market sizing — and provide structured, actionable feedback
- Work on Your Own Schedule — Complete task-based assignments independently and asynchronously
Who You Are
- Holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
- Strong foundational expertise in at least two of: Finance, Marketing, Operations, or Strategic Management
- Able to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-style analysis and recommendations
- Naturally detail-oriented — you catch formula errors, logical gaps, and structural weaknesses others miss
- Comfortable working independently with a high standard of precision
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or structured feedback workflows
- Proficiency in data-driven tools such as Excel financial modeling, Tableau, or SQL
- Familiarity with AI tools or language model outputs as an end user
Why Join Us

- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the variety and intellectual challenge of meaningful, high-impact work
- Apply your expertise to problems that push the boundaries of what AI can reason about
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
