About the Role
Mercor is hiring expert evaluators in Intellectual Property (IP), Trademark, and Copyright Law to review and assess AI-generated work products for accuracy, rigor, and domain quality.
This role involves evaluating legal analyses, intellectual property documentation, trademark matters, copyright assessments, legal memoranda, spreadsheets, and presentation materials generated by AI systems and applying deep legal expertise to assess output quality against established evaluation standards.
This is a remote, hourly contract opportunity.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in:
- Intellectual Property Law
- Trademark Law
- Copyright Law
- IP Litigation
- IP Advisory
- Related legal disciplines
- Native or professional fluency in English
- Advanced proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Sheets
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Google Slides
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- JD, LLM, or equivalent advanced legal qualification
- Advanced academic or professional credentials from a reputable institution
