About the Role
Mercor is seeking expert evaluators with deep experience in privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance to assess AI-generated work products for accuracy, rigor, and domain quality.
This is a remote, hourly contract opportunity focused on reviewing documents, spreadsheets, and presentation decks produced by AI systems.
Evaluators will apply real-world expertise in privacy regulations, compliance frameworks, data governance, and risk management to determine whether outputs meet professional standards, demonstrate sound regulatory reasoning, and accurately reflect privacy and compliance best practices.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated artifacts including:
- Documents
- Spreadsheets
- Slide decks
- Assess outputs using domain-specific quality rubrics
- Review work for:
- Regulatory accuracy
- Privacy compliance
- Risk management quality
- Governance rigor
- Professional presentation
- Identify:
- Privacy compliance gaps
- Regulatory inaccuracies
- Data protection weaknesses
- Risk assessment issues
- Presentation flaws
- Logical inconsistencies
- Provide clear and structured written feedback
- Apply professional judgment when evaluating privacy, regulatory compliance, and governance content
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in:
- Privacy Compliance
- Data Protection
- Regulatory Compliance
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Information Governance
- Compliance Operations
- Related regulatory disciplines
- Native or professional fluency in English
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Ability to assess compliance and governance materials objectively and consistently
Technical Requirements
- Highly proficient with:
- Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace
Presentation Tools
- Google Slides
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Analysis Tools
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- Advanced degree in:
- Law
- Public Policy
- Compliance
- Information Governance
- Cybersecurity
- Related disciplines
- Relevant certifications such as:
- CIPP
- CIPM
- CIPT
- CRCM
- Similar privacy or compliance credentials
- Experience reviewing:
- Privacy impact assessments
- Compliance reports
- Regulatory submissions
- Data governance frameworks
- Internal audits
- Risk assessments
- Experience evaluating privacy programs, regulatory controls, governance frameworks, or compliance initiatives
Contract & Payment Terms
- Independent contractor engagement
- Fully remote work
