As a Backend Engineer, you will apply your software engineering expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will help shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and backend solutions

  • Optimize backend systems for:

  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code

  • 1+ year of professional backend development experience

  • Strong experience with modern backend programming languages

  • Extensive experience designing and implementing:

    • RESTful APIs
    • Microservices architectures

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Relational databases
    • NoSQL databases
    • Data modeling principles

  • Deep knowledge of:

    • Security best practices
    • Authentication
    • Authorization

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as:

    • AWS
    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Microsoft Azure

  • Experience with:

    • Kubernetes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
