AI Workflow Engineer

About the Role

Mindrift is seeking skilled AI Workflow Engineers to join the Tendem project and build intelligent automation systems powered by large language models (LLMs).

In this role, you will design and optimize AI-powered workflows that combine human expertise with AI agents to deliver scalable, high-quality outputs across content, communication, and automation systems.

This is a fully remote freelance opportunity ideal for professionals experienced in prompt engineering, LLM integrations, and AI system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate workflows integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar)
• Build and optimize AI-powered automation systems for content generation and communication
• Develop and refine prompt frameworks for consistent, high-quality outputs
• Create systems for personalized outreach (email, messaging, lead enrichment)
• Structure and preprocess data for stable AI performance
• Analyze and improve AI pipelines for scalability, efficiency, and accuracy
• Implement logic for dynamic content generation and personalization

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AI automation, prompt engineering, workflow development, or software engineering
• Strong experience with LLM APIs and integrations
• Proven ability to design prompt systems and multi-step AI pipelines
• Experience with API integrations and automation platforms
• Strong understanding of LLM limitations and mitigation techniques (hallucinations, bias, context handling)
• Ability to build scalable AI systems for real-world applications
• Strong attention to detail and quality control

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Linguistics, or related field
• Experience with AI-driven outreach, analytics, or content automation
• Portfolio of AI workflows or automation systems
