Accounting Expert

About the Role

We are seeking Accounting Experts to support AI model training by designing complex accounting workflows and evaluating AI-generated outputs.

In this role, you will create realistic accounting scenarios and assess how AI systems perform across financial reporting, audit, and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end accounting workflows (general accounting, controllership, audit)
• Create scenarios covering journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, AP/AR
• Develop and evaluate financial statements, consolidations, and technical accounting memos
• Assess AI-generated outputs and provide structured feedback
• Produce and review accounting artifacts (trial balances, workpapers, SOX documentation)
• Clearly document reasoning and accounting decisions

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in accounting, audit, or controllership
• Strong expertise in accounting principles (US GAAP or IFRS)
• Experience with financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting
• Familiarity with SOX controls and internal audit processes
• Ability to produce and interpret accounting documentation
• Strong written communication and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience in Big 4, public companies, or large accounting firms
• Experience with audit workflows and technical accounting

Compensation

• $50 – $95/hour depending on experience
• Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
