micro1 has partnered with Crosby to offer a Commercial Contracting AI Fellowship for experienced SaaS attorneys.
This program is designed for legal professionals who want to contribute to training and improving AI systems used in real-world contract negotiation and legal workflows.
Role Overview
As a SaaS Contracting Attorney – AI Fellow, you will simulate real-world contract negotiation scenarios to evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs.
Your expertise in SaaS agreements, risk analysis, and legal reasoning will directly influence the development of next-generation legal AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises
- Evaluate AI-generated contract suggestions for:
- Legal accuracy
- Risk identification
- Contractual soundness
- Review AI responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback
- Collaborate with product and research teams to improve training datasets
- Help refine annotation guidelines and best practices for AI legal systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction
- 3+ years of in-house legal experience in:
- SaaS contracts
- Technology transactions
- Strong expertise in:
- Contract review
- Negotiation
- Redlining
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and legal reasoning
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI, legal tech, or data annotation
- Expertise in SaaS risk mitigation strategies
- Publications or speaking experience in legal tech
