Program Manager (Contract)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to support manufacturing and supply chain operations within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This fully remote, long-term engagement offers the opportunity to sit at the intersection of engineering and operations, taking direct ownership of complex program challenges while driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives with minimal direction, communicates proactively, and can immediately build relationships and drive action across unfamiliar teams and system integrators.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage Monthly Readiness Review (MRR) tracking, reporting, and facilitation processes across manufacturing and supply chain programs
• Collect, validate, and maintain program data to ensure accuracy and completeness for leadership review
• Create and present compelling leadership review materials, proposals, and status reports to senior stakeholders
• Facilitate cross-functional review meetings, driving agenda, discussion, and outcomes
• Track action items to closure, escalating risks and blockers impacting manufacturing and supply chain readiness
• Coordinate communication across cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment and operational readiness
• Analyze resource needs, technical requirements, and operational feasibility to support program planning
• Proactively identify issues, own problem statements, and drive resolution without requiring constant direction
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with new partners and organizations quickly in a dynamic environment
• Oversee the development and maintenance of program documentation and reporting cadences

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing operations or a related manufacturing environment

• 2–4 years of experience in engineering or supply chain roles

• 2–4 years of program management experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

• Demonstrated experience creating and presenting materials for leadership audiences

• Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, tracking action items, and managing escalation processes

• Prior experience interfacing with system integrators or external partners is a strong advantage

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong habit of proactive stakeholder updates and overcommunication

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive work forward without constant guidance

• Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence and assertiveness to engage stakeholders and request information across organizations

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and quality control principles

• Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods

• Ability to build relationships quickly across unfamiliar teams in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficiency with productivity and project management tools including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio

Additional Details:

• Location: Remote
• Duration: 11 months
• Pay Range*: $48.50 - $54.50 per hour
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
• Job Status: Non-Exempt
