Role Overview
Cincinnatus LLC is seeking experienced Electrical Engineering Experts to support AI research and development by evaluating technical content and improving how AI systems understand electrical engineering concepts. In this fully remote W-2 contingent role, you will apply your professional engineering expertise to review AI-generated content, answer domain-specific questions, and provide expert feedback that enhances the quality and reliability of AI systems.
This flexible, part-time opportunity is ideal for licensed Professional Engineers (PE) with broad experience across multiple electrical engineering disciplines and familiarity with industry standards and engineering tools.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate Technical Content
- Review AI-generated responses and technical documentation for engineering accuracy and quality.
- Assess engineering reasoning using industry standards and professional judgment.
- Identify technical inaccuracies and provide actionable recommendations.
Provide Engineering Expertise
- Answer electrical engineering questions within your area of expertise.
- Deliver clear, well-supported explanations based on professional engineering experience.
- Share insights into real-world engineering workflows, tools, and best practices.
Support AI Development
- Recommend relevant engineering references, codes, and standards.
- Help improve AI understanding of electrical engineering concepts through structured feedback.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts across multiple technical disciplines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
At least 2 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
Experience in one or more areas such as:
- Power Systems
- Control Systems
- Electronics
- Signal Processing
Familiarity with engineering standards including:
- National Electrical Code (NEC)
- IEEE standards
Experience using engineering tools such as:
- MATLAB
- AutoCAD Electrical
- SPICE
- Similar engineering software
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Based in the United States.
Able to commit approximately 10 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing technical documentation.
Experience creating engineering specifications.
Experience developing training materials or technical guides.
Compensation
- $65–$90 per hour
