Job description

Program Manager (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned change management and program management professional to join our Employee Experience HR team, where the focus is on driving clarity, readiness, and sustained adoption across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives. In this role, you will orchestrate end-to-end change strategies that align stakeholders, shape executive-ready communications, and translate high-level strategy into actionable plans. Your day-to-day will involve reviewing adoption signals and risks, partnering with HR, product, and communications teams to align on timing and messaging, guiding senior leaders with decision-ready insights, and continuously course-correcting based on feedback and metrics. You will leverage agentic AI and Copilot-based tools to scale change execution—generating insights from adoption data, personalizing communications, accelerating content creation, and automating elements of readiness and reinforcement. This is a precision-focused role that emphasizes ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time, while acting as a trusted advisor who integrates strategy, execution, and people impact to drive lasting behavioral change.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end change management strategies including stakeholder analysis, communication and enablement planning, readiness asset development, champion models, and adoption measurement
  • Partner closely with HR, product, and communications teams to align on initiative timing, messaging, and deployment readiness
  • Support product deployments, testing, pilots, and stakeholder coordination across HR-focused products spanning compensation and rewards, performance and development, and AI-enabled experiences
  • Review adoption signals, identify risks, and continuously course-correct change plans based on feedback and metrics
  • Advise senior leaders with clear, data-driven recommendations and executive-ready presentations
  • Utilize agentic AI and Copilot-based tools to scale change execution, generate insights from adoption data, and automate elements of readiness and reinforcement
  • Drive voice-of-customer feedback programs to capture employee and stakeholder sentiment and inform adoption strategies
  • Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, operating effectively in ambiguous and fast-moving environments
  • Translate complex data and adoption metrics into compelling narratives and actionable insights for diverse audiences

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale change management initiatives where adoption, readiness, and sustained behavior change were critical to success
  • Experience owning or co-owning end-to-end change management strategies including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and adoption measurement
  • Background supporting technology-related initiatives, ideally within a large, complex technology-focused organization
  • PROSCI Certification preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Experience partnering with HR, product, and communications teams on cross-functional deployments and adoption programs
  • Track record of driving and sustaining adoption beyond initial launch, with measurable outcomes
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to drive clarity, alignment, and execution across cross-functional initiatives
  • Fluency in agentic AI and Copilot-based tools with the ability to apply AI to scale change execution and content creation
  • Expert-level data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex insights into clear, compelling presentations and communications
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills, including regular presentation to senior leadership
  • Experience with structured change management frameworks such as PROSCI or equivalent methodologies
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and AI-enabled productivity platforms
  • Ability to influence without authority and operate effectively in ambiguous, cross-functional environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on precision, clarity, and audience alignment
