You will be responsible for strengthening and optimizing core accounting workflows while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across close processes and financial reporting. Accountabilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end endorsements process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness across accounting operations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely and structured manner.
- Drive accounting process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Leverage AI tools and financial technologies (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to streamline workflows, reporting, and data analysis.
- Act as a key liaison for fintech systems, supporting integrations, optimization, and ongoing platform improvements.
- Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards using systems such as NetSuite and related accounting tools.
- Support audit processes by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial operations and adherence to deadlines and controls.
- Assist in expense management, cash operations, accruals, invoicing, and broader accounting initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Big 4 or similar public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Experience working with both US and international financial environments.
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct, including reporting and navigation.
- Familiarity with close management tools (e.g., FloQast) and expense platforms (e.g., Ramp) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and structured problem-solving.
- Proven experience in process improvement, automation, and operational optimization initiatives.
- Comfort using AI tools and modern technologies to enhance productivity and financial workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong adaptability, curiosity, and interest in systems, tools, and operational efficiency.
