Consumer Insights & Positioning: Develop deep understanding of user motivations, behaviors, and barriers; translate into positioning and messaging that drives adoption and positive sentiment at scale

Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as the strategic marketing voice within product teams — influence product roadmaps by bringing the consumer lens, identify opportunities to drive business metrics through marketing interventions

Metrics & Measurement: Define success metrics, build measurement frameworks, and use data to optimize marketing approaches; connect marketing activities to product adoption funnels and business impact

Narrative & Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives for both consumer-facing communications and internal leadership audiences; translate complex product experiences into clear value propositions

Market-Level Execution: Adapt global strategies for market-specific launches; manage sentiment and perception across diverse user bases during major product transitions

Stakeholder Influence: Present strategies and recommendations to senior leadership (Director/VP level); build conviction for marketing investment and approach

Years of experience required: 5+

Education: Bachelors Degree, Masters preferred

Top 3 Must Have Skills:
1. GTM strategy (owning this end to end, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, execution).
2. Owning ambiguous problem spaces (take loosely defined opportunities and structure them into clear strategies with measurable outcomes),
3. Relationships (must be good at building relationships, creating new connections, navigating relationships in a big org, not being annoying to people)

Top 3 Nice to Have Skills:
1. Software PMM experience ideally at a big tech company,
2. strategic range — balance near-term execution excellence with longer-term strategic thinking; connect your work to org-level priorities,
3. Initiative (proven track record of finding opportunities, going after them, and driving impact from them)
