About the Role
What if your years of advanced chemistry training could directly shape how AI reasons through the world's most complex scientific problems? We're looking for Chemistry experts — Masters and PhD level — to help build and train cutting-edge AI models by designing, solving, and evaluating advanced chemistry problems that push the boundaries of what AI can understand.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep expertise in chemistry and a passion for scientific rigor.

What You'll Do
- Design and develop advanced, real-world chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Solve and review complex problem sets to ensure scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
- Evaluate AI-generated chemistry reasoning and outputs against expert-level standards
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen model performance
- Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of scientific rigor and precision
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more areas: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry software (e.g., Gaussian, VASP)
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in an asynchronous environment
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in academic research, scientific publishing, or curriculum development
- Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation as an end user
- Experience designing problem sets, coursework, or assessments in chemistry
