Role Overview
AfterQuery is seeking Nursing Experts to create and refine healthcare reasoning challenges for AI training systems.
This role focuses on designing and evaluating clinical scenarios that test AI understanding of nursing principles and patient care decision-making.
Experts contribute by ensuring that AI systems can interpret, reason through, and respond to realistic healthcare situations with clinical accuracy.
Responsibilities
Develop high-quality clinical questions and case studies for AI training
Design scenarios covering:
- Patient assessment
- Care planning
- Pharmacology
- Pathophysiology
- Evidence-based nursing practice
Evaluate AI-generated responses for:
- Clinical accuracy
- Safety and correctness
- Alignment with nursing standards of practice
Provide structured, detailed feedback to improve model performance
Collaborate with healthcare and technical experts to refine task difficulty and quality
Ensure educational value and realism of clinical scenarios
Scope of Work
- Nursing case design and evaluation
- Clinical reasoning assessment
- Healthcare AI training dataset creation
- Quality assurance for medical reasoning outputs
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Clinical experience in nursing practice, education, or healthcare research
- Strong understanding of nursing specialties and patient care workflows
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple years of clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings
- Advanced certifications (MSN, DNP, CNS, NP) preferred
- Experience in healthcare research, publications, or policy work
