Role Overview
Turing is seeking experienced finance professionals to provide omnichannel chat support for small and medium-sized business (SMB) owners.
The role combines customer support, accounting expertise, financial analysis, and AI-powered workflow evaluation. Contributors will answer both general support questions and complex accounting inquiries that require strong financial and bookkeeping knowledge.
Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries through omnichannel chat platforms
- Provide accurate and professional support to SMB business owners
- Handle high-volume support interactions
Accounting and Finance Support
- Answer accounting and bookkeeping questions
- Support customers with financial reporting, bookkeeping issues, accounting workflows, and data interpretation
- Address complex accounting questions requiring financial expertise
Financial Analysis
- Analyze and interpret financial data
- Provide accurate, data-driven responses
- Apply accounting principles to customer-specific situations
Additional Tasks
- Complete project-related PPT-based assignments when required
- Follow project guidelines and quality standards
Requirements
- Active user of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Professional accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Previous omnichannel chat support experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and financial analysis
- Ability to handle complex, data-heavy accounting inquiries
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Experience
- Supporting SMB clients
- Working directly with small business owners
- High-volume accounting support environments
Engagement Details
- Contractor engagement
- Approximately 4-month project duration
- Minimum 4 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week
- Requires at least 4 hours overlap with PST working hours
- Potential extension based on performance and project needs
