Job Summary

We are hiring a LinkedIn / Authority / Speaking Lead to help build Calvin Smith’s authority, audience, relationships, and speaking pipeline.

This is not a “post cute graphics and hope people like them” role.

This is not corporate social media.

This is not generic ghostwriting.

This is a growth seat for someone who understands how to turn a founder’s ideas, stories, opinions, wins, scars, podcast conversations, business lessons, EOS work, and entrepreneurial experience into real authority and real opportunities.

The scoreboard is clear:

  • 250,000 LinkedIn followers
  • 6+ speaking engagements per year
  • 3+ speaking engagements outside the U.S.
  • A consistent pipeline of podcasts, stages, panels, workshops, investor groups, accelerators, franchise events, and business communities
  • LinkedIn content that sounds like Calvin, not like AI wrote a motivational poster

We are not “trying to build a personal brand.”

We are building one.

This role exists to help make Calvin impossible to ignore in the right rooms.

What You Will Own

1. LinkedIn Growth and Authority

You will help grow Calvin’s LinkedIn audience, authority, reach, and engagement.

That means:

  • Clear content strategy
  • Consistent posting
  • Strong hooks
  • Better storytelling
  • Founder/business-owner relevance
  • Comments and engagement
  • Relationship-building
  • Repurposing long-form ideas into strong LinkedIn content
  • Tracking what works and doubling down

The content has to sound like Calvin: direct, human, entrepreneurial, funny when appropriate, honest, practical, and not full of fake guru bullshit.

2. Speaking and Opportunity Pipeline

You will build and manage the pipeline for:

  • Speaking engagements
  • Podcasts
  • Panels
  • Workshops
  • Accelerator sessions
  • University / entrepreneurship events
  • Franchise events
  • Investor / portfolio company events
  • International opportunities

You will find the right opportunities, build lists, write outreach, follow up, track status, and help move opportunities forward.

No messy pipeline.

No forgotten follow-ups.

No “I reached out once and never heard back.”

3. Relationship Building Through LinkedIn

You will use LinkedIn to create real conversations with the right people.

That means:

  • Thoughtful comments
  • Smart DMs
  • Warm connection requests
  • Follow-up
  • Referral asks
  • Event organizer outreach

  • Founder/community relationship-building

This is not spam.

This is human, direct, useful, and persistent.

4. Content Repurposing

Calvin will create raw material from:

  • EOS sessions
  • Business lessons
  • Podcasts
  • Founder conversations
  • Portfolio company experience
  • Franchise experience
  • Investing experience
  • Speaking topics
  • Random thoughts and rants
  • Real entrepreneurial scars

Your job is to help turn that into posts, newsletters, topics, outlines, speaker pitches, and opportunity-building content.

5. Weekly Scoreboard and Accountability

You will report weekly on the actual numbers.

Examples:

  • LinkedIn posts published
  • Follower growth
  • Profile views
  • Post impressions
  • Engagement rate
  • High-value comments made
  • Connection requests sent
  • Qualified conversations started
  • Speaking targets added
  • Speaking outreach sent
  • Follow-ups completed
  • Opportunities advanced
  • Events booked
  • Content themes tested
  • Top-performing posts

If it matters, we measure it.

If we measure it, we improve it.

If it is not improving, we tell the truth and fix it.

Requirements

Absolute Requirements

Do not apply unless these are true.

LinkedIn / Authority Experience

You must have at least 2 of these 4:

  • Managed LinkedIn content for a founder, executive, coach, consultant, creator, agency owner, or business leader for at least 12 months
  • Helped grow a LinkedIn profile by at least 10,000 followers
  • Written or managed at least 100 LinkedIn posts for a founder, executive, business, or personal brand
  • Built content that created measurable business outcomes: sales calls, qualified conversations, speaking opportunities, podcast invites, newsletter growth, community growth, or partnerships

No vague “I helped with social media.”

We need proof.

Speaking / Opportunity Outreach

You must have at least 1 of these 4:

  • Booked or helped book at least 3 speaking, podcast, webinar, panel, workshop, or event opportunities
  • Built a speaking/event/podcast outreach list of at least 100 qualified targets
  • Managed outreach and follow-up for founder/executive opportunities
  • Worked directly with event organizers, podcast hosts, communities, universities, accelerators, or business groups

If you have never pitched a person into an opportunity, this may be too much of a stretch.

  • Write like a human
  • Capture someone else’s voice without making them sound fake
  • Write sharp hooks
  • Turn messy ideas into clear posts
  • Repurpose long conversations into short, useful content
  • Edit your own work before sending it
  • Avoid generic AI-sounding garbage

If your content sounds like every other LinkedIn ghostwriter, we will notice.

You must have experience tracking at least 5 of these 10:

  • Follower growth
  • Impressions
  • Engagement rate
  • Profile views
  • Content output
  • Connection requests
  • DM replies
  • Qualified conversations
  • Speaking/podcast opportunities
  • Leads or revenue influenced by content

We do not need someone who “posts and prays.”

We need someone who watches the numbers and improves the game.

AI and Tools

You must use AI at least weekly, preferably daily.

You should be able to use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools to:

  • Research audiences
  • Study prospects
  • Draft content
  • Repurpose raw ideas
  • Create topic lists
  • Build outreach
  • Improve hooks
  • Summarize podcasts or calls

  • Save time without sounding robotic

AI should make you faster and better.

It should not make you lazy and generic.

Communication and Leadership

You must be able to:

  • Communicate clearly in English
  • Push back when content does not sound right
  • Tell the truth when something is not working
  • Own outcomes without being chased
  • Give short Loom/video updates

The exact tool matters less than this:

Can you find the right people, write like a human, start conversations, follow up, track the numbers, and create real opportunities?

Who This Is For

Apply if this fires you up:

  • You know LinkedIn can create real business opportunities.
  • You can write sharp, human, useful content.
  • You hate generic AI bullshit.
  • You can turn messy founder thoughts into posts people actually care about.
  • You can build lists, send outreach, follow up, and create opportunities.
  • You are not scared of big goals, clear scoreboards, or being measured.
  • You can balance creativity with discipline.
  • You like founders, business owners, entrepreneurs, and people building hard things.
  • You use AI like a weapon, not a toy.
  • You want a role that can change your career and life if you crush it.

Who This Is Not For

Do not apply if:

  • You only know basic social media scheduling.
  • You write boring corporate LinkedIn posts.
  • You need perfect instructions.
  • You are scared to reach out to people.
  • You avoid follow-up.
  • You are an AI novice.
  • You think “posting consistently” is the same as winning.
  • You dislike numbers, scoreboards, or being measured.
  • You are applying to every remote job you see.
  • You want a slow, corporate, low-pressure job.
  • You cannot capture someone else’s voice.
  • You are not willing to get your hands dirty.

This role should either make you think, “Hell yes, let’s go,” or “Nope, not for me.”

Both are useful.

Why This Role Is Different

  • Real autonomy: We care about outcomes, ownership, and execution — not babysitting your every move.
  • Real flexibility: We do not care where you live as long as you communicate well, overlap for key meetings, and get the damn work done.
  • No micromanaging: You will have clear goals, clear scoreboards, and room to lead your lane.
  • Real tools: You will have access to the AI, content, CRM, outreach, and operating tools needed to build this the right way.
  • Real opportunity: If you crush this, you become a major part of a growing coaching, content, speaking, and advisory platform.
  • Real impact: The work supports entrepreneurs and business owners who need better systems, coaching, resources, and accountability.
  • Real trust: Earn trust, keep trust, and your seat gets bigger.
  • Real fun: We move fast, try new shit, laugh, fix what breaks, and keep going. No boring corporate nonsense.
