Job description
We are seeking remote contributors to support the development of next-generation AI and robotics systems through smartphone-based video and motion data collection.
This is a flexible remote opportunity where contributors record simple real-world activities using their smartphones while following structured recording guidelines.
No advanced technical background is required, but attention to detail and consistency are essential.
What You'll Do
Record short videos of physical activities using a smartphone
Capture synchronized motion and video data during recording sessions
Follow step-by-step recording instructions and quality requirements
Submit a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week
Communicate with project teams regarding:
- Recording quality
- Technical issues
- Task instructions
Complete onboarding and device compatibility checks
Requirements
Compatible Smartphone
Applicants must have one of the following:
- iPhone 11 or newer
- Google Pixel 6 or newer
- Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer
Additional Requirements
- Ability to use a smartphone head strap for hands-free recording within 48 hours of onboarding
- Comfortable performing repetitive movement-based recording tasks
- Reliable internet connection
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow structured instructions
Preferred
Applications submitted using a Gmail account are preferred for project tool integration.
Compensation
Compensation is output-based and paid per approved video submission.
Requirements include:
- Videos must meet project specifications
- Minimum submission requirements apply
- Contributors are expected to submit approximately 10–15 hours of video data per week
Actual earnings depend on:
- Recording volume
- Approval rate
- Data quality
Start Timeline
- Roles are typically filled within 48 hours
- Selected contributors are expected to begin shortly after onboarding
- Expected start time is approximately 24 hours after onboarding completion
Equipment Requirements
Mobile Device
All tasks must be completed using a compatible smartphone.
Head-Mounted Recording Setup
Tasks require a head-mounted camera setup using a smartphone head strap.
Contributors will record first-person videos while performing physical tasks.
Equipment specifications and setup instructions will be provided during onboarding.
