Alignerr

AI Expert - Healthcare Operations Contractor
Remote (Global) $35 – $55/hr June 15, 2026

Job description

Health Policy & Management — AI Data Trainer

About the Role

Your public health expertise is in demand — and not just in clinics or policy offices. Alignerr partners with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI systems. We're looking for Masters in Public Health (MPH) professionals to help train cutting-edge AI models to reason accurately about population health, health equity, biostatistics, and evidence-based policy.

This is a rare opportunity to apply your graduate-level knowledge to a high-impact domain where getting it right truly matters. You'll work fully remote, on a flexible schedule that fits your life.

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Health Scenarios — Create advanced public health problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, epidemiological analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data.
  • Author Ground-Truth Responses — Develop rigorous, step-by-step solutions that draw on peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and similar standards).
  • Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for factual accuracy, logical consistency, bias, and adherence to ethical standards — flagging misinformation or flawed reasoning.
  • Sharpen AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback to help AI models correctly distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks clearly, and respond appropriately to diverse populations.

Who You Are

  • Holds a Masters in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or a closely related graduate degree
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Able to translate complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive written explanations
  • High attention to detail — especially when evaluating statistical claims, data citations, and health intervention logic
  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality review, or evaluation workflows
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with industry-leading large language models on meaningful, high-stakes subject matter
  • Fully remote and flexible — set your own hours, work when it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy: high agency, variety of projects, and global reach
  • Be part of a growing contractor network with potential for ongoing project opportunities
  • Make a real difference — your expertise helps ensure AI gets public health right
