Role Overview
Design and solve challenging Physics problems to evaluate and identify the limitations of large language models. Develop clear, high-quality, step-by-step solutions with precise reasoning and contribute to new evaluation benchmarks.
What You'll Do
- Design challenging Physics problems probing LLM limitations (undergraduate to PhD level)
- Develop step-by-step solutions with precise, well-articulated reasoning
- Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem design with evaluation objectives
- Analyze model outputs and identify reasoning gaps
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's, Ph.D., or Postdoctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or closely related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex Physics problems
- Ability to explain Physics concepts clearly through simplified explanations and visual representations
Offer Details
- Contractor engagement; at least 4 hours/day, up to 40 hours/week
