Job description

SME Careers is seeking experienced Swift Engineers to review AI-generated responses and create high-quality Swift and iOS-focused content used to train and evaluate advanced AI models.

In this role, you will assess the quality of AI-generated code and explanations, evaluate technical reasoning, identify errors, and produce expert-level solutions covering Swift and iOS development topics.

This is a remote contract opportunity within SME Careers, an AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate that provides training data for leading AI companies and foundation model labs.

Important Note

There is no immediate active project for this role.

Qualified candidates will join the expert network and be prioritized for future Swift and iOS-related opportunities as projects become available.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AI Training Content

  • Create detailed prompts and tasks related to Swift and iOS development
  • Produce expert-level responses and explanations
  • Help train AI models using real-world software engineering knowledge

Optimize AI Performance

  • Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses

  • Assess:

    • Technical accuracy
    • Reasoning quality
    • Clarity
    • Prompt adherence

  • Compare multiple AI responses and identify the strongest solution

Ensure Model Integrity

  • Identify technical inaccuracies
  • Detect flawed reasoning and implementation approaches
  • Validate reliability across different coding scenarios
  • Review code quality, architecture decisions, and UI logic

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on Swift and iOS development experience

  • Professional experience shipping or maintaining production iOS applications

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Swift
    • Memory management
    • ARC (Automatic Reference Counting)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Ability to evaluate:

    • Correctness
    • Maintainability
    • Performance
    • UI logic quality

  • Experience using large language models (LLMs) for:

    • Coding assistance
    • Debugging
    • Code review

  • Excellent English writing and communication skills

  • Minimum C1 English proficiency
