Job description
As a Competitive Programming Checker, you will apply your expertise in competitive programming and algorithmic problem solving to help train next-generation AI systems.
Your work will focus on designing and validating checker programs for competitive programming problems, ensuring that solutions are evaluated accurately, fairly, and efficiently.
No prior AI experience is required. Deep expertise in competitive programming and C++ is the primary qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement checker programs for competitive programming problems with multiple valid outputs
Evaluate and validate participant submissions against complex problem statements
Work with problems sourced from platforms such as Codeforces and similar competitive programming environments
Collaborate with project teams to refine requirements and clarify ambiguous edge cases
Develop robust and maintainable C++ code for output validation
Handle diverse solution paths and edge cases efficiently
Document checker logic and explain implementation details clearly
Provide feedback on:
- Test case quality
- Checker robustness
- Problem statement clarity
Stay current with competitive programming standards and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in competitive programming
Advanced proficiency in C++
Deep understanding of:
- Algorithms
- Data structures
- Problem analysis
- Output validation
Strong analytical and reasoning skills
Ability to interpret complex constraints and multiple valid solution paths
