About the Role

We're looking for economists with public policy experience to help shape how AI understands and communicates economic reasoning. Your expertise will directly influence the quality of AI-generated policy analysis — making a real impact on how the next generation of AI models approaches regulation, welfare policy, and applied economics.

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated public policy questions, analyses, and explanations used in AI training
  • Assess economic reasoning across topics such as regulation, welfare programs, fiscal policy, and public goods
  • Provide structured, detailed feedback to improve the clarity, rigor, and real-world relevance of AI outputs
  • Apply your applied economics experience to validate scenarios, arguments, and policy conclusions
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience working or teaching in public economics, applied economics, or policy analysis
  • Strong command of economic theory and policy tradeoffs
  • Skilled at critically evaluating written economic arguments and recommendations
  • Clear and precise written communicator — comfortable providing detailed, actionable feedback
  • Self-motivated and reliable working independently in a remote environment

  • Graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, or a related field
  • Professional experience in government agencies, think tanks, or policy research organizations
  • Familiarity with AI systems or content evaluation workflows
