Job description

As a Junior Post-Production Expert (Lightworks), you will apply your video editing and post-production expertise to help train next-generation AI systems.

This role focuses on evaluating and improving AI understanding of professional Lightworks editing workflows, media management, visual effects, and post-production processes. No prior AI experience is required — strong hands-on Lightworks expertise is what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate AI-generated workflows involving:

    • Non-linear editing (NLE)
    • Advanced trimming
    • Console-based editing
    • Bin management

  • Audit post-production workflows involving:

    • Shark console operations
    • Multi-cam editing
    • VFX routing
    • Media management

  • Evaluate AI recommendations related to:

    • Codecs
    • Delivery formats
    • XML/EDL exports
    • AVID/ProTools interchange workflows

  • Assess AI-generated instructions involving:

    • Lightworks UI behavior
    • Flexible and fixed layouts
    • Workflow optimization

  • Troubleshoot:

    • Metadata issues
    • Collaborative project-sharing problems
    • Proxy workflows
    • Linked and local media management

  • Verify proper implementation of:

    • Node-based effects
    • LUT adjustments
    • Color grading workflows

  • Provide detailed technical feedback to improve AI-assisted post-production systems
