About the Role

We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve some of the world's most advanced AI models. Your deep knowledge of chemistry will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — from undergraduate fundamentals to graduate-level challenges.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your academic expertise in a cutting-edge field, work alongside leading AI research teams, and make a lasting impact on the future of science-focused AI — all on your own schedule.

  • Organization: Alignerr

  • Develop clear, step-by-step solution walkthroughs with precise, well-reasoned logic
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and overall quality
  • Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Masters-level chemistry topics
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve AI model performance over time

Who You Are

  • Pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
  • Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and accuracy
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or scientific writing
  • Familiarity with AI tools or large language models
  • Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with industry-leading AI research labs on genuinely cutting-edge projects
