This opportunity is seeking experienced MLOps Engineers with strong expertise in:
- Machine learning infrastructure
- Distributed training systems

The role focuses on improving AI training infrastructure, ML systems performance, and framework-level optimization using technologies such as JAX, PyTorch, Pallas, and Triton.
This is a W-2 employment position through Cincinnatus LLC, supporting a leading AI laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
Guide research and engineering teams on:
- MLOps workflows
- Training infrastructure
- Distributed ML systems
- Framework-level optimization
Design technically challenging ML systems and infrastructure tasks
Write accurate and well-structured solutions for:
- MLOps engineering problems
- Distributed systems challenges
- Training pipeline optimization
Evaluate MLOps tasks and provide detailed technical feedback
Develop:
- Evaluation rubrics
- ML systems guidelines
- Infrastructure assessment frameworks
focused on:
Distributed training
Training pipelines
Kernel-level optimization
Systems reasoning
Collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain technical quality and consistency across training data
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in:
- MLOps
- ML infrastructure
- ML systems engineering
preferably within top-tier technology organizations.
Hands-on production experience with:
- JAX
- PyTorch
- Distributed ML systems
Experience developing or optimizing GPU kernels using:
- Pallas
- Triton
Demonstrated career progression and technical growth
Ability to commit to:
- 40 hours/week
- Weekday availability
Strong written communication and technical explanation abilities
