Job description
Mercor is seeking experienced life science researchers, laboratory scientists, and core facility specialists to contribute expertise toward frontier AI training and evaluation projects focused on biology, experimental science, and environmental research.
This role focuses on supporting AI systems through:
- Rubric-style evaluation tasks
- Scientific reasoning analysis
- LLM prompt design
- AI output evaluation
- Experimental workflow assessment
The ideal candidate has prior experience completing Mercor rubric-based tasks and is comfortable evaluating AI-generated scientific and research outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Support projects involving:

Design and refine:
- LLM prompts
- Scientific evaluation rubrics
- Experimental reasoning tasks
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for:
